Spicy 6 first established its roots on Robson Street in 2012. In 2017, the restaurant transitioned under new ownership of Raj and Sukh Bassi. Together they take great pride in providing a great dining atmosphere, while working with Chef Mani to deliver on their promise of authentic North Indian flavours.
Chef Mani has been managing busy kitchens for over 20 years. Chef's passion for culinary expression started while he was in India, during this time, Chef prepared delicious meals in some of the Country's finest 5-star restaurants and catering businesses. His travels brought him to Vancouver, a City he now calls home. He has experience in the City's top fine dining establishments, 5-star hotels, and as well as the Convention Centre.
Fun fact, the restaurant is named after the six spices commonly used in North Indian curries. Chef meticulously selects, roasts and grinds the spices as he prepares the traditional spice mix, which is the base of our delicious curries.
